Hi

I am the owner of one of Wreck basses made by young Croatian luthier Danijel Kopjar.
These basses are really something special and I needed to share it here.

As I am informed, he usualy puts Dolezal custom made pickups in it, Noll electronics and Schaller hardware (or anything you want - I've put Ken Smith pickups and U-retro electronics).
He also makes "vertical pyramid system" bodies to make basses lighter and with more sustain.
And he makes the most beautiful finishes.

Here is link to his facebook page: LINK

And here are some pics of Wreck Basses:

They look great! Sounding pretty cool too for that sound.

I particularly like the semi-visible chambering. Thanks for sharing, not heard of them before.

I really don't know exact price...you should contact him on Facebook...and yes - website seems to be down...

I bought mine 3 years ago and it was neck through model (more expensive than BO), without pyramids (cheaper than with it) and I had my own electronics and hardware...

But I think they are around 1500€...really nothing compared to what you get...

This is my Adidas bass :D (this is with Bartolini pickups - later I have changed them to Ken Smith)

I wonder how them vertical pyramid thingys affect the bass. I suppose because it isn't quite solid it would make it lighter, not as much as chambering I would hazard a guess. Or am I thinking about it the wrong way?

I really don't know...I could ask him to come here and explain everything you want to know but I don't know is it against the rules of this Forum (advertising etc.)...

Think this is my fav of the ones posted. Something a little Fodera-ish about it (not that that's why I like it), it's just appealing to me for some reason.

The horns remind me of a Monarch too

It would be good to know but he'd have to chat with the mods to sort all that stuff. Maybe an affiliates thread?

I've just sent him pm on Facebook and told him to contact admins here on BC...If you have any questions I suggest you to try and contact him the same way until he arranges something here...
