albinokiller
He is a great guy, but it is very difficult to jump out in market of lots of different luthiers. It's very hard to find your place in the sun You need lots of luck, money and hard work. And coming from small country like Croatia isn't really a bonus
Twigman
most look OK - far less 'coffee table' than some.... but How do they play? That's the important bit.
albinokiller
most look OK - far less 'coffee table' than some.... but How do they play? That's the important bit.
I have played 3 or 4 of them (including one I own)...all 5 stringers... They all sounded really good...no matter what pickups or electoric were in, it still had its sound...nice, organic but well defined...I don't know how to explain it but you really hear wood in it... My bass is 34, but all others were 35 inch...and 5th string sounds like other 4... I don't know what to said...neck profile is ok, string spacing adjustable, no neck dive, well balanced... For more info you should try it yourself...I don't know where but I hope it will be possible somewhere in near future (or if you come to Croatia in summer please contact me so we could play few basses and dink more than few drinks )...
