You'd be surprised at what is interesting. What you find is mediocre someone else may find interesting. After all, what music shop out of the few well known stores in London, has even a couple of Fender USA P basses to try? Most will have 1 MIM, a couple of Squiers, a handful of Ibanez or Yamahas and that's about it.
