I don't really want to change anything with the bass, due to the nature of the gig. But would there be anything out there I could use? Quote
Dood Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 D'addario [b]EXL160BT[/b] 50-120 are great value for money as well as being ideal for the job, especially as you are already using EXL160 already. I didn't need to file the nut when changing from 45-105 to the EXL160BT and found that even Drop C gave me a good tension. Quote

thodrik Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Dood beat me to it but the D'addario 50-120 balanced tension set are ideal. If it is only for one gig though the strings you have should be able to do the job if you set the bass up for it. Quote
