I believe the new price of these was around £800. Great cab. Plenty of volume and bottom end with a really fast response and punch. 600w. I used this with a NY121 (on it's side) and it made a killer rig. Opticaleye Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016
Just a heads up. Thats a review for an f500 not tte500
Yeah there's a review for the cab on that link too. Bass Player magazine also reviewed the NY604 with the F500. Most of the TTE reviews are with the Randy Jackson cab.
Opticaleye Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 I forgot to mention that the NY604 also sounds killer with my NS EUB. I've owned 3 different models of Markbass 1x12's and this cab is fuller sounding as a single cab solution than any of them (in a similar sized box).
Opticaleye Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 Another bump for a classic sounding amp and powerful, punchy cab
karlfer Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 TWO Sandberg Umbo's, that's just greedy Bump for a great and tempting amp.
Opticaleye Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016
TWO Sandberg Umbo's, that's just greedy
You realise there are roundwound and flatwound strings right?
kevvo66 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Hells bells ,if you wasn't so far away I'd be all over this why are all the best deals miles away from me oh bugger Edited February 14, 2016 by kevvo66
karlfer Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Dear God, that Blue Umbo Ahem, focus. Don't suppose you are heading north in the near future? Very tempted by the TTE.
Opticaleye Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016
Dear God, that Blue Umbo Ahem, focus. Don't suppose you are heading north in the near future? Very tempted by the TTE.
Ah timing is everything unfortunately. I have someone coming up to try the TTE tomorrow. I can testify that the Umbo/ TTE/ 1126 combination is a good one
Opticaleye Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 TTE head now sold. Cab still available
Opticaleye Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 I tried this cab out with my 800w Markbass head (500w into the 8 ohm cabinet) and it handled it with ease. An excellent small single cab solution. Bump.
Bassmachine Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I have this cab..... This cab is awesome and with the appropriate position and distance from the wall can go reaaalllyyyyy low. Have a bump for a superb tiny beast
Opticaleye Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 "Pocket sized powerhouse in a 1x12 sized box" type bump.
Opticaleye Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 Further price reduction. Now £325 If it doesn't go at this price I may keep it to use with my EUB.
karlfer Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 There's a cover for this, reduced to clear on Roqsolid at a daft low price. http://www.amplifiercoversonline.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=381&sort=20a&page=2
