I paid £400 for this cab secondhand from Bass Direct last year. I believe the new price of these was around £800.

Great cab. Plenty of volume and bottom end with a really fast response and punch. 600w. I used this with a NY121 (on it's side) and it made a killer rig.

Here's what Bass Gear magazine said about the NY604,

We've come to expect great things from Markbass, but it's their own fault, really, for setting the bar so high. The New York 604 certainly lives up to its heritage. This enclosure features top-tier components, plus excellent construction.Combine this with the unique configuration, and the New York 604 offers up a distinctly different option for the player looking for grand things from a small package.

Just a heads up. Thats a review for an f500 not tte500
Yeah there's a review for the cab on that link too. Bass Player magazine also reviewed the NY604 with the F500. Most of the TTE reviews are with the Randy Jackson cab.

I forgot to mention that the NY604 also sounds killer with my NS EUB. I've owned 3 different models of Markbass 1x12's and this cab is fuller sounding as a single cab solution than any of them (in a similar sized box).

Dear God, that Blue Umbo :gas: :gas: :gas:

Ahem, focus.

Don't suppose you are heading north in the near future? Very tempted by the TTE.

Ah timing is everything unfortunately. I have someone coming up to try the TTE tomorrow.

I can testify that the Umbo/ TTE/ 1126 combination is a good one :)

I tried this cab out with my 800w Markbass head (500w into the 8 ohm cabinet) and it handled it with ease. An excellent small single cab solution.

Bump.

There's a cover for this, reduced to clear on Roqsolid at a daft low price.
