Grangur
I notice Blue hasn't said how old he is in any of the "how old are you?" threads, which is quite ironic seeing as he mentions it in pretty much every other one...
True, but it's about 3 years now that he's been telling us he's 64. So we all should know that by now.

dincz
The graph takes a terrifying dive after 51-60. Should I start harp lessons now?
leftybassman392
124 votes cast; approximate mean age = 47.4 years. (Doesn't actually say anything about the BC membership as a whole of course. It gives the approximate mean age of those who have voted in this poll. Just so you know... )
Daz39
The graph takes a terrifying dive after 51-60. Should I start harp lessons now?
Harp? That's what all the whingy emo-rockers call anything with more than 6 (sometimes 4)strings posted on a facebook Bass page. Anyone who's seen it will know what I mean. I have genuine worries about death. I mean, it's pretty scary. It's nearly worth spending my life in blissful ignorance and believing in a religion. Almost.
Those feckers wind me right up. "It's a harp", "just get a piano", "Jaco only needed four", etc etc etc ad feckin nauseum. And they always seem to think they're the first person ever to say it, ooh look at clever old me with my original cutting edge humour. Luddite twerps. The sort of people who wish bass R&D had stopped dead in 1954. Yes I know everyone's entitled to an opinion. Well this is mine. Sorry. deepbass5
statistically - i'm in the group that is indicating within a couple of years my body will no longer be able to cope with the riggers of gigging and I will give up, I will then move into the group of old farts that nobody wants to see flood lit. But I'll tell my friends the fun had gone out of it for me. I had a good run , mustn't grumble
