70's mocha Precision build

So I've finally decided to start a thread for my first build (reference photo below).
I've been lusting after a 70's mocha brown precision bass for years now so thought this would be a great thing to have a go at building.


So far...

I am Currently waiting on delivery for my Warmoth transparent brown alder body. The electronics and pick guard are sorted.

I still need to source:

• 70's styled neck + tuners etc
• Pickups (Lindy Fralins)
• Pickup covers
• Bridge
• Thumb rest
• Screws etc

Lindy Fralin pickups on the way and a Fender American special neck sorted. Hopefully I'll start building this Thursday!

Very true! Was finding it hard to source the right coloured body so I pulled the trigger on a warmth body. Build starts this evening!

So I spent the weekend putting her together. See the results below!

Seriously impressed I must say. The neck is laser straight, got a nice low action. A true breeze to set up and the thing growls!
