I think the main thing I was looking for was something that sounded good to my ears simple as that. Non sounded bad though. Next time I'm going to do something really simple in the first position. [/quote] I noticed the similarity too (I'm one of those noodlers) and it's interesting. Speaking only for myself, that tends to be how my bass noodling goes because I'm not in a band. I make music myself and, if I've put something together in Ableton, my basslines tend to be very simple, but that's not the kind of thing I'd bother playing when I'm just sitting with my bass in silence. So unless somebody wants to hear me playing whole notes, I suspect my Noodle-comp submissions will be along these lines Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
