toneknob Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Don't think so, but it works really well in mobile browsers. Quote
Norris Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Right at the bottom of the page there is a small button to switch between the full version and the mobile version. The mobile version has a few limitations but is a lot easier on the eyes on a small format screen 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) The mobile version (like everything designed to run on a phone) is OK for browsing, but trying to post anything more complex than a couple of sentences of text is simply too time consuming and complicated, so I stick to looking at Basschat on a proper computer. Number6 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I only ever read and post from a mobile.....works fine for me. Quote
Cato Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I think it depends on your mobile, mines a bit rubbish for internet stuff in general, but the mobile version of the site is generally excellent on my Kindle Fire. (Apart from not being able to watch embedded youtube vids since the last software 'upgrade' but thats entirely a problem with the Kindle, not Basschat). Quote
rogerstodge Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I've recently bought an iPod touch ( same size as a phone) and I can't get the mobile version on it but I can my phone?? My phone will change from full site to mobile site but the options not there on the pod. Any ideas? Quote

colgraff Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) If there were an app, what would it be called? Basschapp? Bappchat? Bappchapp? Edited February 4, 2016 by colgraff Quote

TimR Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Top tip: In the mobile version there is no "view new content" - at least I can't find it. If you're on mobile you can bookmark the following link. Voila! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=viewNewContent&search_app=forums&setAsMobile=1 Quote

TimR Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Well sptted. Right next to where all my new personal messages are hidden. Quote
RandomBass Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I use the mobile version 90% of the time, works fine except the niggling inability to see people locations, so have to ask in a post. Geoff Quote
