Bass Dilemma....

I potentially have around £250-£300 to spend on a new bass at some point but I am really at a crossroads of what to purchase..... Any Suggestions?

Narrow it down for us: 4 string, 5, fretless, Classic style (J or P etc.) or something a bit different?

4 String, fretted, something classic/old school. Mainly played P's and a Thunderbird in the past

Also what style do you tend to play, so what kind of sound etc... oop you kind of answered that.

TBH at that price I'd try ones in music shops and see what fits.

Squier VM: there's Jazz, Dimension and Jaguar (SS) in that range.

Yeah, the Bass Collection stuff is supposed to be cracking for the price.

I`d look at Squier, Yamaha BB range (2nd hand on here). Both very good quality.

I received some great feedback on the new race of Sire basses. The 5 string Marcus Miller ones are meant to be great, I'm pretty sure that would mean the 4 strings ones would be too...

Yamaha BB424 or try and find an old ibanez blazer. Both amazing P bass derivatives.

Peavey Foundation. About £150. Storming bass - though you may find it too aggressive with rounds.
