SOLD Hagstrom 1 Shortscale Bass (early-mid 1960s) Sky Blue £525

Swedish-made, early to mid-1960s model.

Weight: 3.5kg/7.7ibs

30.5" scale ('shortscale') length

21 fret neck with rosewood fingerboard.

Lightweight hollow body. 35mm nut.

Beautiful blue colour. Blue leatherette rear.

All original and in great condition but tone knob cap missing.

Deluxe model due to the 'cheese grater' grill between the pickups.

'Expander' sticker on the rear of headstock refers to the truss rod!

Strung with LaBella flatwounds

This is a fun and inspiring instrument. It's easy to dial and switch from authentic McCartney-esque mellow tones to retro soundtrack clicky pick sounds.

It comes with a very old case simply to keep the dust off it, but I'll pack and box it securely.
