This seems to be Tommy Shannon's Jazz Bass bass from when when he (Tommy that is) was playing with Johnny Winters band in New York, mid sixties. Apparently Mr. Shannon still owns the bass and the picture in Detlef's book shows that is now more roadworn than a roadworn thing. Your useless piece of info for the day, kiddies.
