Short of making my own, which I might try, are there any good alternatives to the FS6?

I'll only use it at sparingly and at home so it needn't be anything special. I looked at the Behringer AB200, looks OK...

Thanks yeah I saw that - I think for my purposes I'd prefer a 'soft' switch rather than a button, if that makes sense?

James (brightonion) may be willing to make you something with a soft-touch-switch as a custom order.

If not, I think saturenworks has them.

Don't bother with the FS6. It requires a battery to work which is extremely annoying and redundant.
