Sennheiser HD215 Headphones

Just got these today - they are SO much better than my old Technics!
Really worth the money, and I got them cheaper through Amazon, nice!

Good cans are an amazing experience.

I have a pair of Grado SR60 and they are wonderful.

Open backed so sh*t if anyone else is trying to sleep... but the sound is just perfect.

I have a pair of HD 212s and they do the job pretty well. A bit too much bass though, on some tracks the kick drum sounds really disjointed. But for games and general listening they are brilliant. I am thinking of treating myself to some open back ones at Christmas.

My main cans at home were Grado SR60s and i agree with the others, fantastic sound but a bit too open for a living room.
Im now using Sen HD215s and while i like them i do feel they are slightly lacking the warmth of the Grados but great for what i need.

If im in on my own then ill use the Grados but the family moan if i use them while CSI is on :-(

If it has to be closed back, HD215s are a good choice.

I'm using goldring DR100s, pretty nice sound and quite comfortable, though i wouldn't use them on the bus or anything where other people don't want to hear what i'm listening to.

Sennheiser HD215? Hmmm Might have to give them a try. I need to buy 3 or 4 lots of cans for our rehearsal room.
