Hobbayne
What (If any) are the advantages of these over a Vox Amplug? Anyone use one?
timmo
I have never used a Bass Ace, but as it doesn`t have to plug directly into the bass, it may last longer. The Voxamp is nice, but you need to treat them gently. I broke my first one because I got the headphone lead caught in my clothing, and ripped out the jackplug. That was the mark 1. The Mark 2 seems better because the jack plug rotates, but I am still careful
RhysP
I've never used the Vox thingy but the Rockman Bass Ace is a piece of crap, nothing like the older Tom Scholtz designed Rockman stuff. Somebody bought up the Rockman name (think it might be Jim Dunlop) & produced the Guitar Ace, Bass Ace & Metal Ace & they are all rubbish. Urban Bassman
I got a Vox amPhone for Bass earlier this week and I'm very pleased with it so far.
