Wanted one of these for years and years and I'll hopefully be picking it up tomorrow!

It's a lovely all maple '78 Gibson RD Artist. Can't wait but definitely not looking forward to finding a gig bag for it. Any suggestions?

If I hadn't just bought an Overwater fretless I would have probably hit that.

I have ritter gigbag for my thunderbird - perhaps an RD would fit in one of those? RockBass have a range of oversize bass gigbags as well.

I just about got my RD Artist into my Warwick rockbag, was a snug fit but not so tight as to pull on the machineheads

Anything meant for a T'bird should fit an RD. The original case is the size of a small pool table!
