deksawyer
There's not a dedicated thread for this apart from the one in the Tecamp thread, so here it is. The products seem to be slowly coming of the production line, and there's mention of prices on the FB page. https://www.facebook.com/Eich-Amplification-185018971836714/?fref=ts Now, it's clear that these are tweaked Tecamps, which isn't a bad thing, but time will tell if there's any other changes inside the amps or cabs. I'm glad to see Thomas and his team back as they've always made excellent products. Now, since Mesa are out of stock of the Subway cabs until around May time and with me just sold the Tecamp M212, I might have to try these... cheers D. Lw.
How are they selling things without a properly functioning website? People just buying on blind faith or are there dealers out there already? I'm in the market for some new cabs so maybe I'll add them to the list. I see they're at the London Bass Guitar Show, I may have to go in order to hear them, just not sure I could put up with the inevitable wall of slapping noise at these things :-/

IanA
Looks like nice gear and is certainly worth an audition but I am in no hurry to move on my Puma 900.

deksawyer
I've ordered 2 115XS cabs - should be here once they're built in around 4 weeks from now. Can't wait! D.

DBerriff
Bass Direct is listing them. I'm very pleased with my Puma 500, both for its sound and build quality. The Eichs have identical features (by that, I mean controls; I have not checked the specs). There is nothing wrong with that, but how does this sit with the USA Tecamp range? Regardless, I hope the Eich range succeeds. Edited May 13, 2016 by DBerriff
Mark Dixon
What exactly are the differences between TecAmp and Eich, are Eich just tweaked TecAmp? Edited May 13, 2016 by Mark Dixon
Lw.
The money ends up in a different persons pocket ;-) But yes - it's mostly a small update on the designs & a re-branding after a fallout.
Mark Dixon
Are they made in the same place, or has production changed?
fretmeister
Anyone got one yet? I could do with a back up to my Puma.

LZD56
Tried one in Bass Direct a/b'd with the Genzler Magellan. Preferred the Eich. Both quite hifi, but Eich had more presence. Then tried out a second hand Tecamp Puma 1000 & there was no contest for me. Bought the Tecamp even though it was more expensive than the Eich. fretmeister
Was the Eich the T-1000 model? I thought they were pretty much identical internally?
franzbassist
I think older model Tecamp heads have Powersoft power modules fitted, whereas newer ones are ICE.
fretmeister
Ah! I had forgotten about that. My existing Puma is relatively recent and I really like it, so it seems likely that the Eich's will be similar to that.

My Puma 900 has cured my amp GAS. It's like my old LM2 but with better EQ.
