ash
I have this lovely 1994 reissue of a 1963 Hofner Violin bass. It has a beautiful flame to the back and is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition with an easy action up the scale. It's currently strung with Rotosound 77 flats and has that warm 60's sound. The bass comes with hard shaped case and certificate. It has been strung right handed and the scratchplate has been removed but is included. These reissues are hand made in Germany and were manufactured to a high standard - not to be confused with the HCT or Ignition series this is the real deal! A strap button has been added at the neck heel so a standard strap - rather than the original 'dog lead' strap - can be used. Excellent condition some finish wear on the neck - see pics - with only a few minor dings and lacquer marks. Major price drop to £600 . Now sold thanks.
