Clipping

Hi guys some help please
I have a markbass 250
I'm playing through a markbass410
With a Warwick FNA
Even with my Gain very low it's clipping and the little light is coming on when I slap the e string.
Any advice on why this might be will be appreciated

Have you tried turning the volume on the bass down?? - I find that sometimes if the pre-amp is particularly "hot", as in my GB Rumour, I can end up overpowering the settings on the amp.

I have to turn down the volume on my Wal whenever I'm running into anything other than my amp.

Zoom B1on clips at the input as did my old sansamp, which was very sensitive to a hot input signal.

That's a great help. Problem solved I had some nail clippers in my amp and that was causing the problem. All solved now. 😎

All joking aside I've resolved the issue.
I found two small adjustments on the pre amp I've lowered them and the clipping has stopped. I also lowered the pick up slightly. Problem solved 👍🏻👍🏻
