mumra
Hello.I am a happy owner of an aria pro II sb black n gold II bass guitar. I would like to ask how can I check if the pickups are in best working order. Is there any simple way to check them. Thanks a lot.
ikay
Plug it in and have a play ! Do they produce good output? Do have any reason to think that they're not working properly?
mumra
the sound is awesome. The only reason that I have is that I believe that they have low volume output. I am not sure.
ikay
If it's the single pickup passive model there's not a lot that can go wrong. If the pickup is generating output and sounds awesome then it sounds like it's working as it should. If the output seems a bit low have you tried raising the pickup height? Low output isn't necessarily a sign of a problem anyway as all pickups vary. Just give it a bit more gain at the amp input stage. synthaside
from what i remember from owning my SB which was the single passive pickup , it was never the "hottest" output bass , if your looking for a level boost then perhaps somthing like a Behringer BDI or sansamp so you can give it a little boost.
