nash
So there's the Digitech drop that'll move your pitch down but are there any that move it up?
cheddatom
I use a whammy, but I think the EHX POG pedals have better tracking
probablypike
I've not got much experience myself, but I've had the same search myself for a long time, and from what I can tell the POG always seemed to be the best option.

ProfFrink
Mooer Tender Octaver is pretty good IMO. Note that octave-up will always sound very synthetic. A classic solution is to add OD or fuzz to mask some of this.
probablypike
On the other hand, if you didn't want a pure octaver effect, Earthquaker have got some seriously cool octave-based effects that are a bit more left-field. (As well as a simple octave up pedal.) http://earthquakerdevices.com/cart_product.cfm/cat/13098 Edited February 18, 2016 by probablypike
stevebasshead
Boss PS5 pitch shifter will do this, along with lots of other things. It's not great at tracking the lowest few notes on the E but great elsewhere.
Dosi Y'Anarchy
(As well as a simple octave up pedal.) http://earthquakerdevices.com/cart_product.cfm/cat/13098
The thing is that pedal is more like a traditional octavia/green ringer style fuzz which will give Octave up overtones if played in a certain way but it is essentially a drive pedal rather than a pedal that actually synthesizes an Octave up in the way that a Pog/hog/pitchshifter does. It is cool though, my Mutron Octave divider clone has one built in. Its so dirty and I can get some really interesting tones out of it. AustinArto
The Pitch Fork is really good but I think the smoothest, most natural-sounding digital pedal pitch shifter is the one in the Line 6 M-series pedals. It tracks fast too, it's really an amazing algorithm and it works brilliantly on bass. I've got a Pitch Fork and an Eventide H9 on my board and I still miss the Whammy effect on my old M9, it was better than either of them.
