patch006
Hi all, Im looking to do a bit of looping for a solo set. Im looking for a decent looper that is pretty straight forward to use. Any advice or experience would be great. Better still a offer of a nice looper! Cheers
CamdenRob
I have the boss one, in operation it is exactly the same as the ditto and runs on batteries There are more complicated options but it depends what you need it for. ProfFrink
Loopers range from very simple (Ditto) to extremely flexible (Pigtronix Infinity, Boomerang, TC VoiceLive 3). Watch some videos, or just get one of the simpler ones and start experimenting...
uncle psychosis
How long a loop time do you need? Do you need to be able to add multiple loops or is one enough? If multiple loops, do you need to be able to delete loops but keep the others playing?
patch006
Im looking at pigtronix, I really don't know much about pedals. I want a versatile one that will do as much as poss.

skelf
I know Colin has one for sale so you could try it out at the Moffat bash.
patch006
Ha that would be quite a drive! My finn would like it back up there though
thodrik
Ditto X2 is a good basic looper and is pretty much all I need. The Line 6 DL4 is cool but not much loop time. The Boss RC 30 is nice but I found it a bit fiddly. That is pretty much my knowledge which is next to useless.

SimonEdward
I haven't seen it mentioned yet - but the '360' looper by EHX get's a thumbs up from me. Here's a quick overview and video link: - http://infinitybass.com/october-2015/
