This is a lovely resonant bass, a nice comfortable weight (6.5 lbs on my bathroom scales) and a great woody sound when amplified.
I've emphasised this even more with a set of brand new Rotosound black nylon strings (put on since the photos were taken).
It's in great condition with no noticeable fretboard wear, one tiny pinhead finish ding was all I could find (by the edge bending below the bridge but too small to photograph).

Rock maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard
34 " scale
Mahogany body
Solid spruce top
Full length thumbrest
Grover tuners
LR Baggs ribbon transducer and custom preamp - a series of 18 tuned brass rods suspended internally from the bridge which produce sympathetic vibrations to enhance the amplified sound.
Volume, mid, treble and bass controls 3 band active EQ
Hiscox hard case

I've got the unlined fretless version of this and the amount of 'mwwwwaah' available from these is ridiculous, mainly down to the resonator body construction. Glad you mentioned the weight because these are a god send if a heavy bass is the bane of your life.

This has been my second and they are wonderful in sound and weight, but GAS has returned in the shape of the 5 string version, so it has to go.

God, I just love theses basses!

Have another bump on me!

Thanks for that. Do you love it enough to buy it though? :)

Go on. Of course you do. Give me a sensible offer and it'll be flying down to you by tomorrow lunchtime :)

Tempting as it is, I need to refrain myself. More important (but way less funny) bills on its way....

Thanks anyway!

Nut I´ll still keep this post under my radar!

This has been my second and love it, but have moved over to 5 strings so it has to go.

Looks lovely :)
Sadly, I need to sell a bass before I can buy another (as ever seems to be the case lol)

I'm afraid that's my issue too. As you say, this always seems to be the case :(
Thanks anyway :)

East Sussex - but I will be traveling up to York in a couple of weeks, so could pass by Nottingham and drop it off if you don't trust parcelforce :)

Someone please buy my US P bass
I'd love this......
Difficult time to sell, even if it's a superb instrument....

A someone buy my Marshal amp quick so I can check this bass out bump.

Pah, I really wanted this bass, as it's different from everything else I have - which is mostly Fender shaped
Shame about this, and sorry for 6feet7 that this fab looking bass didn't sell - it was silly money for such a nice instrument
Ah well, maybe the marketplace will pick up? Hope so.....
