Allparts generic electric bass flatwounds

Hi

Anybody used these? At £8.40 a set I figure its got to be worth the gamble, would love to hear some opinions if anyone here has used them

That is cheap - and Allparts are not a cheapo brand. Problem is, my flats seem to last forever (5 years so far). Allparts do rounds for about the same price. It's got to be worth a punt.
