Boss GT6b repair??

Hi, I noticed when playing that instead of the bank/patch name displaying in the LED window there was scrolling of parameters. The sound didnt change but ad this with the guitar version and it was a fault that would require either the replacement of a controller or a whole new motherboard.
Been looking for a GT10b to buy but not had any luck so wondered if there was anyone who can resolve the issues with my GT6B.
