Annoying Twit
I've noticed that Spector basses are quite often spoken about in glowing terms. Is this one of the good ones? If so, this auction, finishing in four hours something, could be at bargain levels. Or, are there good Spectors and bad spectors. Aside: I thought I spotted a real bargan for a minute. Then remembered, it's "Lakland", not "Lakwood" Edit: Not as expensive as I thought, http://www.turnkey.co.uk/product/spector-p...ass-slate-grey/ Basswood body, usually the sign of a not-too-expensive bass. Sure is purty though. Edited September 21, 2008 by Annoying Twit

You've done the best thing which is to visit a large retailer on-line, establish which model it is and then gauge that against the price it's being offered at. Don't be put off by the basswood body, one man's meat and all of that! Also don't think that just because something has a (cheaper to produce) BO neck that they are a 'worse' bass than a NT, it's down to personal preference.
