Most of them are in the US, though there are still quite a few in Germany too.
I used to have quite a few (all guitars apart from my 12 string bass).
Best guitars ever made IMO; I just couldn't justify keeping them though so I sold them all.

People who love Hamers tend to collect them/hang onto them, especially now they are no longer made & the value of them is increasing.

I've had three, still own one (FBIV). Desperate for a series one Cruisebass.

There's been one on Ebay for a while, it's in the US though, and pretty battered. Great basses.

I've seen it. Part of my reasons for not pulling the trigger is that the marks on the finish are kind of beyond buffing out. It needs a full respray which will compromise the serial number and the headstock logo. No idea how they did the white-on-black logo; maybe the whole headstock facia was a transfer and then clear coated.

Didn't Nikki Sixx destroy them all?

He trashed a lot of FBIVs...there's apparently less than 30 globally, one of which is about ten feet away from me as I type this...

Why don't you use Imgur or something?

I've got a photo bucket, but haven't logged on in years. The pics are probably all still linked to Bassworld.

Used to be quite a high profile company; I really wanted a Hamer Explorer like Martin Turner's back in the day
Didn't realise Fender had killed them off - damn shame

Warwickhunt used to have a 5 string green cruise bass... Should have bought it when he sold it. Would be on that like a flash if it came up for sale again

Always wanted a white Scarab. Missed out on a red one a few years back, it'll be another ten years at least til I get another chance I bet!

There's one on eBay at the moment.

I'm in negotiations for a white Cruise. It's in pretty awful condition. Will cost me $600 plus taxes to get it here. I'm in two minds; £500 more or less, then factor in some kind of refinish. Hmmm.
