chris_b Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 IMO the Craig Fuller years were some of the best. Those 3 albums were on a par with any that went before. Quote
spongebob Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Love the 'Feat - I think there's something very special about the Lowell-era. I've heard a few of the later records, must admit they left me a little cold....I really should revisit them. Their last Lowell album, 'Down On The Farm' has always seemed a little overlooked to me....'Perfect Imperfection' and 'Be One Now' for example. ....and LG also produced 'Shakedown Street' by the Grateful Dead. Not their finest hour, but the expanded CD has LG playing 'Good Lovin'' with the Dead. Quote
lowlandtrees Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016
I need to listen to more of them, I think. We were going to do this in one band but, in the end, decided that our backing vocals didn't come up to scratch... SICbass Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016
| I will never tire of watching/ listening to that clip. Absolute brilliance!
I can't see it in Germany 😕. GEMA (German PRS) have blocked it 😡 Quote

Bassnut62 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) One of the single greatest bands in early form with Lowell George; been into them since I was 13 in 1975. Only other rock n funk bands that deserve equal billing are Tower of Power and The Meters IMO. Edited February 22, 2016 by Bassnut62 Quote
