Great pup. I put one in my Fender Musicmaster.

Would this pop into a 51 P reissue easily, and would it sound the Dog's Baws ?

It should drop straight in, 2 screws and a couple of solder joints on the pots. It went into and came out of a paisley precision.

I like this and the standard, neither is better just different

How different may I ask - I got mine with a custom made Lollar already in & it's a bit too "hot" & I'd like something a bit more traditional

TBH if you think the lollar is too hot this is probably too hot too
