FatFingers
If anyone is looking for a project there is a p bass currently on Gumtree - seller is in Sleaford Lincs. It could well be a Fender Squier Series as it has the Black Fender logo and the serial number dates it to 1994. It seems someone got rid of the "Squier Series" decal with a chisel as there is gouging where it would have been. The scratchplate is single ply and the body has been through the wars including a matt black DIY respray at some stage. FatFingers
That's the one. Has Schaller tuners as well. Body much lighter than my 2004 Mexican P which troubled me and the work needed is beyond my limited DIY abilities.
Grangur
It looks good.
That's the one. Has Schaller tuners as well. I'd love the chance to work on that one. But it's a bit far north for me.
Had a trip up to Sleaford to view it but l wasn't sure what it was until I got home and did some research. Seems it's common for owners to get rid of the "Squier series" logo but probably not with a chisel as in this case. Like I said earlier, a bit above my capabilities.
