Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pro - Offical Hardcase issue

Bizarre experience today. I finally ordered the official Epiphone Thunderbird hardcase for my Classic Pro. It arrives, good price from Amazon. Doesn't fit. Pro is two inches longer than the case??? I've returned it for a refund.

Anyone else had this problem. It is the only Epiphone TBird case on the market- same at GAK Andertons etc

How long is the case, end to end? I'll measure mine when I get home.

As an aside, Gibson and Epiphone cases aren't interchangeable either; the body shapes are different, similar, but different nonetheless. My Hamer fits the Epiphone case snug as a bug in a rug.

Will if the Epiphone and Gibson cases aren't interchangeable, the Classic Pro might need the Gibson one as it's different to the standard Epiphone model!

A few years back the Pro fit my Epiphone case very well. Heavy as mind..
