Wiggybass Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Hi folks I have an early 90s SR4 with a noisy jack socket. It is the enclosed 'black box' PCB-mounted type and I'm wondering if I can replace it with a standard 3-pole Switchcraft-type like THIS. I'd connect the socket to the PCB with short lengths of wire. Anyone done this and if so do they have a wiring diagram showing what goes where? Or do I have to bite the bullet and replace like for like? Thanks folks, all input much appreciated. Wiggybass Quote
deksawyer Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I seem to remember that when I needed to change the jack on my Ray, the cable had 4 wires - so instead of f***ing around I went for an identical replacement.......... ......but I could be wrong! D. Quote
