RMI basses are individually factory built - not cloned or mass produced. To date, all RMI basses have been unique in some way, but this specific example of Aurora is radical to say the least. The bass features best-of-breed hand crafted Nordstrand pickups (found on the world's most expensive boutique basses, top of the range Delano preamp/pots, ETS bridge and Gotoh toggle switches. therealting Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Lovely. Is the nut spacing 52mm, or is that the full width of the neck at the nut?
Volume Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 @therealthing - 52mm across the whole width of the nut Volume
Volume Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 Bump - some interesting trade offers - looking for a 4-string...
Musashimonkey Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 This is an incredible bass, very low action possible, and fantastic range of tones, very slim and comfortable neck too. I had the wonderful opportunity of owning this and a Fodera Emperor ii elite, and I must say that although there are differences, this bass does come very close! And at the huge difference in price... Someone's in for a treat here. (Disappointed that I don't have the funds to buy this one back actually). GLWTS
Volume Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Bump! - wide-open to trade offers on something with a few less strings... Have a great week, folks!
