I like the look of the second one but the headstock design really puts me off, it just reminds me of beginner level bass headstocks.

They both sound good IMO – A very Marcus Miller ish sound on the 2nd slapping vid, and the bass in the first vid sound really nice being played finger style. Don’t look too bad either.

It looks a lot nicer on the webshyte - [url="http://www.willowsguitar.com/willow_sub1.html"]http://www.willowsguitar.com/willow_sub1.html[/url] - This one apparently costs 5,072 of something, maybe yen? …don’t think that’s right cos it works out at about £25.83 Has anyone found a UK dealer or a price list (just out of interest)?

It very momentarily had me in its grasps as well, but then I starting playing around with the currency converter and I think the one that caught my eye is edging on for £5k! I’ve never lost GAS so fast

I could have f***ed up on the old currency converter thing cos it doesn’t actually say what currency it’s in, so I’ve guessed that the 980,000 quoted figure is Yen which works out to be 4,994.59 GBP.

i think they're a korean company, so the currency would convert from whatever they use - not yen

I think they may be aimed at the Aussie market.

If they become collectable in a few years will they be known as "Old Spunkers"....

I was hoping it was South Korean Won as that works out at £2.41 each......ah well.
If you are gonna spend that much see Mr Shuker instead.

To be serious for a moment....I deal with 2 Sth Korean factories for parts and they normally trade in Euro's or Dollars.
All the parts on the site are in Korean Won and no cheaper than UK prices.
Going off the spec I would say the price is in US $
