Dazed
Any suggestions folks? Looking into buying some headless bits - tuner/ bridge headpiece. There doesn't seem to be a huge choice ABM, ETS and Hipshot. Any other recommendations? Good suppliers? Bass parts or Thomann are current contenders. sifi2112
I ordered ABM single bridge tuners & headpiece from Thomann but the headpiece was listed wrongly as it doesn't accommodate double ballend strings so I sent them back, however the quality was great. I then sourced an ETS bridge & tailpiece and a Status headpiece, also great quality & has really improved my Yamaha BBN5, now the B string (actually drop A) is fine where it wasn't great before, I can only attribute this to the increased mass of the hardware .... my 2cy
Bassassin
Seller in Ireland does this set, it looks like it's based heavily on the Steinberger-licensed design used by Hohner: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311363305520 Used in this build thread: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/269096-headless-steinbergeresque/ Jon. tauzero
You used to be able to get them from Status although they're not listing them now. Would be worth getting in touch with them though.
