Marty Forrer
A few players have mentioned clarity. This One10 cab is the first cab I've ever owned in 35+ years of playing that I can sit on the floor and hear myself perfectly (kind of important for a double bass player! ). I just played an outdoor gig with it, several hundred punters, and the soundman told me to turn down so he could put me in FOH. I was running the gain at 9 o'clock and master at 11 o'clock.... just coasting really. And that with one 10" speaker!
Kevin Dean
I think one Supercompact is enough for most situations. Last night I had a gig in a small country pub (The Cock in Stansted Mountfitchet). 1 Supercompact, Trace Elliot AH300, passive P bass. Had the gain at 1 o'clock, master at 8 o'clock, people reckoned we were too loud.
I gigged mine the other night , I had it on top of a powered Sub (that is only really used for the Bass drum) . I was wondering what the sound difference would be if i had the compact on the floor , I was planning to try it but just didn't have the time .
