The first track (life without balcony) is just stunning. Not only does Yuri Daniel have to replace Eberhard Weber, he actually manages to make a Warwick sound fantastic (only kidding Warickistas!). Completely different type of player but really fits in beautifully IMO.

Enjoy!

Looking forward to having a listen to this when i get home. Saw Garbarek and Weber together a good few times over the years with their own bands.
Can't help but have a wee tear in my eye to see him still playing with Rainer Bruninghaus too...but no Weber. :(

Ah well time moves on i suppose ..

Weber was/is unique. Silent feet still amazes me. I don't think Bruninghaus gets enough credit but that's for another post😄

The sound on this one is top drawer. A good one for the headphones.

Weber was the principal reason I started playing bass, have been a fan since the seventies when I bought The Colours of Chloe. A unique bassist - I think he's even been on some of Kate Bush's albums.

I was thinking cor this is a bit difficult, then realised I had four of the six parts of that concert open and playing at the same time.

Have reduced this to just part 3, and have started again.
