Odd things inside my bass

I took my bass to master luthier Edward Gaut (lovely chap, fantastic work), and he found wool, fabric, a box of crayons, a big patch of Velcro and a box of candy cigarettes all inside... The mind boggles, but it was very funny.

This was a second hand beater bass from the 60s so has been around a lot, but I wonder what other people have found inside their basses?
