chris_b
Love the look on the guitarists face at 6:00 when he looks around expecting to see the cones popping through the front of the cab.
therealting
Says something about how affordable instruments have come on when you see a Sire and a PRS SE onstage with David Sanborn.

chardbass
This was the video that turned my head, got me doing a bit of online research and, ultimately, making the purchase.

The neck on the Sire is fantastic IMO, and in my case preferable to my Sadowsky.

[/quote] No. My Sadowsky is a terrific bass. The attention to detail is second to none, the preamp just provides for a range of sweet spots and the notes are even all over the neck. Also if there are any issues, Roger Sadowsky is happy to deal directly with customers, just make a call and ask for Roger. If the Customer is not happy, Mr Sadowsky is not happy and he will put it right. The thing I liked about the Sire, was as soon as put my hands on the neck, it felt like home. I reckon it is the 7.25 radius that does it for me (probably as a result of playing old Fenders for many years). In my case the 12 inch radius on the Sadowsky is less preferable. I have not gigged the Sire but Mr. Berry gets a cracking tone. Edited March 6, 2016 by leroydiamond
kevvo66
Man that's a nice , gets me thinking sometime are we all just label junkies myself included ,just got scheter diamond series in a trade and it blows my mayones jabba out of the gigging scene now and the poor mayo going as back up bass or getting sold on to fund another scheter or even one of the above in a 5 fitted with flats or half wounds ,some lovely basses around now for not much money Regards kev
