Hondo II Rickenfaker SOLD

I need to sell some basses. It's a sad, sad day.

First out of the door is this lovely Hondo II. Yes, it's a bolt-on neck. yes, it has only one truss rod. Yes, it's made in Korea. Yes, it's ply. But it still sounds and looks good enough to be more than £150-worth of fun! it has two nice chunky single coil pickups and a big meaty sound with a touch of clang!

I bought this off eBay a few months ago - the tuners, which appeared to be made of foil, were shot so I replaced them with big chunky Grover Titans that will stay in tune for months. The knobs were cracked and falling off, so I put on some smart new black ones.

This is the same model of bass that Peter Hook played in the early Joy Division days, and used to record Unknown Pleasures.

This bass will set you back £150 if you meet me in London, and if you want it posted you'll pay postage at cost. So probably a shade under £20 extra.

Anyone fancy entering the Rickenfaker world with a touch of history at a low, low price?
