TRADED ! : Zon Legacy Elite 4
£1300

Hello fellows Basschatters,
Here you have a Zon Legacy Elite 4, walnut top for sale/trade.
Very rare to find used, so that's your chance to grab it for a very good price.
No signs of the usual paint peeling of the Legacy built in nineties.
It has a bit of dings (nothing too evident but please check the photo album)
Straight neck (no truss rod) : Precision nut spacing, Schaller tuners and bridge. Comes with OHSC.
Incredible sound, very clean and rich of harmonics.
Should be for sale (need € to buy another bass, yes, the story of our lives) but I could be interested in a trade for a five strings same level.
If you have a Zon 5 or a Modulus Q5 I will be more than willing to add cash.

Reduced price : 1500€ shipped to most european nations

@tertiumquid : Good ol' Italy
@ped : yes it is. I was not aware that there Legacy are very sought after because of the special pickups.
The sound is to die for, aggressive, warm and extremely musical.

It's the Polyfusion preamp that makes them sound so good too.
I used to own two Legacy four strings - best basses I ever had.

I didn't notice the pickups, I thought they were the Bartolini pickups used normally - can you tell me a bit about these? Looks like they have a 'bp' logo?

They're Bartolini's Ped, the older ones that Zon used to use had that little bp logo on them

I see, thanks, yes I thought they looked like Bart W4 pickups. Love that Schaller bridge, too.

Special production Bartolini pickups (hence the BP logo).
They are a special run, (not 100% sure but should be hum cancelling singles in P shape) and thay are VERY special.
Unsure if it's only a matter of Polyfusion pre. Had that pre in my Legacy 5 (Bartolini humbuckers) and they did not sound very similar.

@totorbass : it's actually almost black phenolic resin impregnated wood. Most recent Zons have no black paint added so you can see wood grain.

@shroombass : Thanks for the offer but actually I'm looking for the right 5 strings.

@aero71 : 3,8 kg
