I've managed to get myself back up to 6 basses, of which 3 are black, black, maple.

So Fender American Standard Jazz, made in USA 2005. Weight 9lb 5oz.
Condition very good although it does have "certain light swirling" and a couple of tiny dints that I can't photo. Can't see any of that more than a foot away.
S1 does make a difference, giving it more P sound, bass plays and sounds great.
Apologies for photos but as usual it's raining in Wigan!

£700 collected (or meet up within reason) £725 couriered.

Embarrassingly long feedback link at bottom of thread.
Any trial in Wigan would be great, questions welcome but ultimately it's just a good Fender jazz!
Thanks for looking,
Karl.

Same colour and year as my main gigging bass. Absolutely incredible to play, the feel of neck is better than any other bass I've played. S1 switch is awesome too! GLWTS! Prospective buyers are in for a treat :-)

Thanks Joe, it is a good bass.

I appear to now have 2 P/Js, 2 jazzes, a Sterling and a R Faker. 3 of these basses are black black and maple.
Summat's gotta go

Nice bass, apalling timing for me as just put a deposit down on a Sandberg Cali II TT.

Looking for one Karl, shame it's too heavy or I'd have your hand off for that :(

Tom, I know you need sub 8.5lbs, unfortunately there are very few US Standard jazzes ever recorded below that weight :(

How it always goes Alain, enjoy the Cali (must admit I rather like the look of the now defunct Umbo  )

I'm coping with an 8.5lb [s]Marush[/s], [s]marusczs[/s] one of those german Jake P basses so 8.5 is ok. I hate getting old Karl but someone has to do it :(

Thanks Martin, bit of a brain fart yesterday.

I suddenly may need some money for an unexpected issue, so remove a "for sale" item. Genius   :P

For the sake of clarity, this splendid jazz is for sale,
cheers,
Karl.

And again further pm's replied.
Nobody seems to have cash for this so perhaps time to put another bass up.
One needs more funds and less black, black, maple :P
