karlfer Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) Looking to get a MarkBass TTE again so putting this lovely little amp up. Was £565 almost a year back, including TecAmp gig bag (not shown but included, it's in the loft). As far as I can see it's unmarked, immaculate. TecAmp now appears to be US based, so if you can get a new one, I think it might be a good bit more. EICH are the new company set up by the brains behind TecAmp and the new equivalent gear is a little more expensive. Link to spec. http://www.bassdirec..._amplifier.html Great, powerful, simple amps. £400 collected from Wigan, £420 UK insured courier (I have the original box). Any trial in Wigan, feedback at bottom of post, nowt much else to say. Plenty of discussion in the "Gear" Amps and cabs forum. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. karlfer Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 Terminal Ian, you? I'm down to 1 cab now and I've got it into my head that a TTE will make my "stack" look more macho . Yup, that sad. Apart from that, I'm only lusting after DanEly and JimmiElliotts Precisions. Which is pretty good for me
franzbassist Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Superb amp. I have a Bonafide and a Puma 300 by Tecamp and they are just the business. Another fab feature on these is the rehearsal section - plug in an iPod and headphones and you can rehearse to your hearts content with no cab needed. Karl is also a top fella to deal with, so I am sure this will be gone soon.
franzbassist Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 TTE's are great heads. Very good choice. Dan's TF is my old one. It's a top notch bass.

karlfer Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Probably last bump, I know when I'm beaten Fairly sure the only way you can get a new TecAMP version now is from the states. That WILL be expensive. The new EICH T 500 which is Thomas's new company's version of this, is currently around £590, not including gig bag. Speculation I know, but it is likely these well thought of amps may well get harder to come by. Cheers, Karl.
