jimbartlett Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Hi, Has anyone owned or played the Bass Centre Rhythm Stick Bass? If you have, do you have any sound clips or views on the Bass? http://www.basscentre.com/british-bass-masters/bass-centre-rhythm-stick.html Also does anyone know if it's possible to test a Bass Centre Bass before you buy one? It looks like mail order only. Quote
TheGreek Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Interesting JP set up - the ad doesn't give any indication what make the P/ups are though - hopefully be able to try one at the LBGS this weekend. Quote
wateroftyne Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Nice! I wish they'd change their logo, though. It's hideous... Quote

jimbartlett Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 The London shop did but they are now online only by the look of it. Quote
Srwu Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 They have a place on the edge of Camberley in Surrey. Although I think they basically are mail order only I turned up on spec one Saturday morning and caught them in. They were very helpful and friendly and agreed to do a setup on a bass I bought on eBay (they set it up very nicely too). I suspect that if you contact them and you could get yourself down to Camberley they'd let you try before buying. I agree with comments above about the logo... Quote

Lynottfan Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Late to the party, but why so what, I have one, in fact one of the very first, arranged by Mr M himself, great bass guitar, very well balanced J/P set up and I like the logo. For the money, AMAZING quality imho. Quote
bubinga5 Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 What an odd selection of instruments. They only do Bass Collection and NS.? Or am I missing something. ? Love the Blockhead mind. Quote
