MuseMatt
If you don't want to wear it but want to keep it close wear it on a necklace Edited September 23, 2008 by MuseMatt

Muppet
I've a very nice thin platinum wedding ring. It got in the way of my playing a bit, so I got rid of the wife and moved the ring to my right hand. Problem solved.
cetera
I always remove my wedding ring when playing with the KISS tribute band..... otherwise I get fake blood & paraffin under it (which can be sore)... and it prevents me doing lots of @gene-like' bass slides... As an aside, it'd look pretty silly wearing a wedding ring as 'Gene SImmons' - especially when he has been happily unmarried for so long! lol! peted
My wife interferes with my bass playing more than my wedding ring does! I also have a titanium wedding band and it's as light as plastic so I hardly notice it. It never comes into contact with the bass. To maintain a happy marriage, remember that you'll have to spend at least 1.5x what you pay for each bass on presents for your Mrs! Plus you'll be limited to the number of bands you can be in at any one time and how many nights a week you can practice.

stingrayfan
Makes no difference to your playing - just might affect how often you get let out to go and play.
