Spector Rebop MM5

Hi
I'm a big Spector and Musicman fan and I really fancy a Spector MM5. I love the stingray 4 but am not keen on the look of the Stingray 5 so I thought the Spector would be a good hybrid.
Has anyone got one/tried one?
Thanks in advance for any input
Dave

David, this comes from a fellow Spector player. Haven't tried myself but from what I've gathered the MM pickup is too close to the bridge on the Rebop and it makes the bass a bit thin sounding. Some Spector players installed an extra neck pickup.
Again, the MM pickup is NOT in the 'sweet spot' we have come to love with the single pickup Stingrays.

Same experience here sadly. The pickup is just too close to the bridge for me.
