Oldboy
Hi all, I'm Oldboy, based in southeast London, I'm a total beginner to bass playing and music concepts as a whole. I've been lurking on here and Scotts Bass Lessons for a while and trying to pick things up as I go. I bought a Squire CV Jazz but even before I can play the bloody thing, find myself with a bad case of GAS. Or should it be BAS? I now find myself lusting after a 50s' type Tele Bass. Tell me, is there a cure before the wife finds out and I get "bobbit'ed"? Edited March 14, 2016 by Oldboy
TheGreek
Welcome Oldboy If there is a cure for GAS it's being kept from me...I keep telling myself that there are others out there with more basses than me (10 at the last count) but having 3 Trace Elliot rigs suggests that it's more than just basses. Confirmation of this comes to me in the form of 20 odd pairs of trainers, at least 7 leather jackets and that I keep finding shoes I'd forgotten I had. Just have to accept it and move on..."my name is...and I've got GAS". If you're serious, you do know that you can minimise parts of the site by clicking on the heading? Try this on the "For sale" section....good advice, just wish I could put it into practice myself..
