D'Addario NYXL 45130 £30

Tried them recently, but they're too different from the strings I've been used to using for the last few years in both tone and feel for me to be comfortable physically and to find my preferred sound. They're great strings and worth a try, but just not for me and I don't deem the cost of adapting to them worth it.

They've been on my bass for a grand total of 5 hours of playing. They have been trimmed when fitted, but I have left a good few turns so shouldn't be an issue to re fit on another instrument.

Are they cut for four inline as in a P or Jazz ?

Out of curiosity, to what are you comparing them and how do they compare?

Spyder, they're cut for a 5 string jazz bass - 4 inline (B-D) and the G on the other side of the headstock.

threalting, PM'd you so as not to derail the thread, but they're basically just not what I'm used to and I'm a creature of habit.
