New Visions song/album

I used a Fender jazz with seymour duncans, and I went old school (in our genre, at least) with the rig, a Mesa big block 750 (ran dirty) with a Bergantino NV610, blended with a Sansamp VT pedal (ran dirtier), no clean DI at all. I think it came out pretty well in the end.

this is ace! Great bass sound!

It's probably not appreciated at this stage but that hi-hat is really very loud and there's no way I could listen to a whole album like that on headphones. It's probably fine on speakers though

Yeah, it's really cutting. The master is has quite a lot of treble, partly because the rest of the cymbals weren't cutting enough, and an unfortunate result is the hats are quite piercing in places. Annoying, but you're right, it's only on certain systems we've found.
