1989/90 Fender Jazz Bass 62 Reissue. MIJ. **SOLD** £499

In good condition, she has 1 chip on the top of the forearm bout, has some age and play related other marks and swirls but nothing much really.

Neck is great, just has 1 small ding on the rear of the neck towards the top. Frets are fine and show a little wear.

She is all original and untampered with, has the usual reddish tort guard on this era of Japanese basses. She has no issues.

Serial number is: Made In Japan I026875 I believe dating her to 1989/90.

Comes with reasonable gig bag. £499 plus £11 to ship or can meet and greet at IP21 or within East Anglia by arrangement. SOLD

Hey man, I'm interested in this bass but need to know a few things first:

This ding you mention on the neck, where exactly is it and can you send a photo? Body blemishes don't bother me at all (quite the opposite in fact) but neck dings can sometimes irritate me, depending on their severity. If it's minor or somewhere my hand isn't going to feel it, I won't care at all.

Does the neck have any warping/ dead spots/ crazy fret buzz in certain spots? Most of this can be fixed but I'd like to know what work may or may not lay ahead.

Lastly, if I do decide to buy this, can we arrange some kind of payment via PayPal because I like the security and can just whack it on my credit card :-p I'm currently in talks with Bass Direct about a white 93/ 94 Japanese Jazz Bass they have but have always had my heart set on a black one. Their's goes on sale tomorrow so if you can satisfy my above questions before then, I'm definitely going to take this off your hands :-)
